Casey Robison

Casey was brought up in the farm country of southeastern Idaho, which is where he first developed his love for all things mechanical. At an early age, his father became the general manager of a John Deere dealership and his love for all things “Green” began. His first real appreciation for the marvel of engineering came when he stood atop a potato harvester and watched how a complex series of chains and sprockets, put into motion by the Power Take-Off from the tractor, moved the dirt, vines, and potatoes in a crisscross pattern until the potatoes were dropped into the back of a nearby truck.

This love for all things mechanical, combined with his enjoyment of math and physics classes led him to enroll in the mechanical engineering program at nearby Utah State University where he graduated with a BSME degree. As fate would have it, this was the same University attended by Bill Wagstaff many years earlier, and upon graduation, Casey was recruited to join the Wagstaff family business in the Spokane Valley. That was in 1996 and he’s been at Wagstaff ever since.

His work as a design engineer and engineering manager provided him the opportunity to travel th world and meet many industrious and wonderful people. In his current role as a Technical Training and Development Specialist, he’s working on curriculum and programs to better train both the up and coming generation as well as the seasoned workforce. Casey’s hobbies include snow skiing, wake surfing, backpacking, and playing basketball with his three children. He also enjoys following the expansion of the international space community and hopes to see the day when humans step onto the Martian surface.
